Microdosing Ayahuasca & Cat’s Claw
Ayahuasca Vine Only The Ayahuasca brew used in ceremonies with a shaman is a combination of the Banisteriopsis caapi vine and the Psychotria viridis leaf also known as Chakruna or Chacruna. The Chakruna leaf provides the DMT responsible for the hallucinogenic effects common in ceremonies. Microdosing does not include the Chakruna leaf so there is no DMT involved; it is only when the Chakruna plant is combined with the caapi vine that it becomes hallucinogenic. Since there is no DMT, microdosing the vine only is legal in most countries; a shaman is not necessary when microdosing. You are better off not microdosing the vine with the leaf as there is not enough MOAI in microdosing to de-animate the MAO in your system. This would cause the DMT to be totally neutralized. Macrodosing, which includes the Chakruna leaf, we believe should be done in a ceremony setting with a shaman. But many of the same benefits can be obtained by microdosing, which is more gentle and subtle. But even microdosing can and should be treated as a spiritual practice. Many have expressed the desire to maintain the feelings of peace and connection experienced after a full ceremony, which is entirely possible through microdosing. It is recommended that you set your intentions and be observant of yourself; journaling is recommended as the changes you experience can be subtle. Be observant of your feelings and how your daily life, as well as any physical conditions, may change. You may obtain insight, clarity, patience, endurance, vitality, etc. We would like to hear your experiences. We believe in seeking connection to “The Madre”, which is the spirit of Ayahuasca. She is a very powerful, loving, and gentle spirit and should be respected. Questions asked: Diet: If you have done ceremonial Ayahuasca, the diet before and after is no red meat, no processed foods, no salt, no alcohol, and no cheese or fermented foods. When microdosing, the diet is not necessary because the dosage is so small, but some have reported that their diet naturally improves and cravings can change. Can you drink alcohol? Yes but in moderation. How are the drops made? Fresh cut vine from deep in the jungles of Peru, pounded then boiled in huge stainless steel pots for 14 hours, refined slowly to a very thick paste. The paste is then rehydrated with distilled water. 70% Caapi Banisteriopsis vine only (no DMT) and 30% Cat’s Claw. The Caapi Pure Vine only is 100% pure vine. This is not a tincture. This product is for microdosing only. Drugs: Please do not substitute any medication prescribed by your physician with microdosing. Do not stop any medication without consulting your physician. Price and Amounts: $39 for 1 ounce dropper bottle plus shipping. Dose: We recommend that you start with just five drops under your tongue daily (sublingually) for 3- 5 minutes. Let it absorb into your mucus membranes and your capillary system; it will only take a few minutes. If you swallow, you lose half the value as it contacts your gastric system. It is ok after a few minutes to chase it with juice. It is suggested that you do this for a month then take a break for a week or two for the body to adjust. At this point, you may adjust the dosage. Everyone is different. You know you have taken too much if you feel nauseous. Then repeat as desired. Shake bottle before use. Keep refrigerated. If you are not able to keep it in the fridge for a few days, keep it out of the sun.
